I have been an established attorney in the State of California for over 14 years, initially compelled to attend law school to continue pursuing my passion for music and film that started while finishing my undergrad work at UCLA.

During my time at UCLA, I worked in the music industry at Geffen Records and Zomba Music Publishing.  I applied only to and was accepted by Southwestern—a law school with a strong and reputable entertainment department.  While there, I clerked in the Legal Department at Lions Gate Entertainment, negotiating and drafting production agreements.  After graduating law school and passing the bar, I was hired at Paramount Pictures Corporation in the Music Legal Department and quickly rose the ranks, earning the position of Director of Music Licensing within one year.

About a decade ago, after I married and became a mother, my passion changed to my three sons.  I quickly became aware that traditional estate planning had many holes, and I wanted a better system for my family.  It was then that I decided to make a major career shift and open an estate planning law practice with my sister.

My sister and I created a system to ensure that our families would be protected if the worst were to transpire.  If something were to happen to my husband and me, our kids will never go into protective custody and loving short-term guardians will know just what to do, named agents will have access to our accounts to take care of my children financially, and my kids will receive their inheritance protected from future creditors, lawsuits, bankruptcy, and future ex-spouses. For over 10 years now, my sister and I have built and established a law practice serving clients that we are proud of.

We are on a mission to provide the same caring and thoughtful legal protection for your family and for our community as a whole.

When I graduated law school in 2004, I was drawn to finding meaning in my law career based on helping individuals, families, and my community, truly wanting to make a difference in people’s lives.

I began my legal career as a prosecutor for the Long Beach City Prosecutor’s Office and, later, for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. I found a deep fulfillment in my work as I worked to serve the community where I lived and the people who lived here. When I worked in Long Beach, I was the key prosecutor for the Domestic Violence Unit, fulfilling the need to create a bond with and help individual victims and to make a difference in their lives.

Though my career path eventually changed, my desire to connect with my community and the individuals and families that comprise it did not. In 2009, my sister, Danielle, and I started Wiezorek & Geye, and we continue to pursue our passion of making life better for those around us.

At Wiezorek & Geye, I practice in the field of Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Administration. Danielle and I carry on the tradition established by our attorney father who combined empathy and integrity with experience and dedication. We are regularly out educating our community on the importance of estate planning, and making personal connections with our clients. It is these relationships that continue to make practicing law so rewarding for me, along with delivering a product that I know will work for my clients.

My undergrad work was completed at UCLA and I received my law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, in 2004. I have been a member of the California State Bar since 2004, and I live in my hometown in Long Beach with my husband, three kids and dog, Watson.
